Instincts are something that we have possessed throughout all of human history. They survived millions of years of evolution and still seem to be right.
Just think about animals—how some can even feel an earthquake that’s about to happen. Sensing things like these is a very powerful attribute. Hence, just like in the animal kingdom, we too can anticipate danger or determine whether something is right or wrong. If we reflect, trusting our gut feeling has mostly had a positive outcome. But why then do we tend to overthink every tiny little detail? It surely shouldn’t be that way. Instincts are anchored so deeply in our subconscious because our ancestors completed certain tasks or made various decisions so often that they eventually became automated. They are a precious gift and should be relied upon more often!
So—yes, I fully trust my instincts!
Do you?
